I agree but since you are campaigning for an even higher wage for the teachers I don't see how you can complain. After all the HR person is responsible for babysitting around 250 (professional) adults in our district, you on the other hand have a couple dozen kids. Everyone knows the adults are much harder to handle than the kids.

Keep in mind that the contract has expired, you have no legal obligation to the district nor the district to you. Feel free to shop it around.

OK, I'll accept what the Human Resource person makes.

But why do I have to wait 19 years to get it?

And you said that you will take it to the board. Go for it!

Whoa, there Thunder...

Pick a side and stick to it. 90K is way too much to pay an HR person as 50K is way too much to pay for teaching services.

Can't wait to see you next Monday at the board meeting.

Looks like we do compare to Murrysville after all.

Lets hope the next contract does too!

huh??? So we have a Sheetz, a Wendy's, McD's, pizza Hut, Cat dealer, Hoss's, numerous gas stations, numerous shopping centers, car dealerships, etc.

They must be very well hid in PT. I've never seen them, unless they are camo'ed as Janet's, Dairy Queen and a bunch of trees.

Similar population, but less taxes in Penn Twp. Maybe we need to raise the anty?

In PT, residents pay about 95% of the taxes (dollar for dollar). In Murrysville, businesses are soaked for the majority of the taxes. Unless you are advocating forcing the taxpayer to subsidize your lifestyle (for no good reason), bring in more business into PT.

My good reason is I'm worth it!

Now quit giving me the business!

Maybe we can erect a temple and charge for Bar Mitzvahs?

Test scores indicate you are NOT worth it.

The business IS the key, which PT does not have. And soaking our Hebrew friends is not the answer either. how about the correct answer - which is be paid market rates? That entails at least a 20% reduction in wages.
